The initial enquiry for this project was to provide a design for an extension and major renovations to the existing property on the site. It soon became apparent that due to the condition of the existing house and awkward nature of the layout it would be a better solution to bulldoze the house and design a new one. By opting for this solution the client has exactly what they want from their home in the location they love with a far better quality of build.
This project was a supervised build so not only did I design the house I contract mangaged the whole process through to the last lick of paint and sign off. A detailed specification was written allowing the client to see exactly what they would be getting and the contractor exactly what to supply and price for. The end result was a happy client and happy contractor with a fantastic new home both can be proud of!
